ok. Someone's going through EVERY transcript and changing spacing and saying that they transcribed them.
Can someone help me fix all of these and block this putz?
If I'm way outta line, please say so.

Uh, yeah. He did do those. A long time ago. I made him a user page, and I'm going to link to it now. --
Tom
what about the ones where it said "transcribed by Gemini" and he changed it? --
AgentSeethroo
Oh crap. I didn't notice that. I'll check now. (Crap, and I just linked them all.) Hang on. --
Tom
Uh, so which ones did he do that for? Because I couldn't find any that were on
Gemini's list that he has his name on. --
Tom
Yeah, I think that you think that
Gemini did
StrongBadEmail/brianrietta/Transcript and maybe
StrongBadEmail/halloweener/Transcript, but he didn't. I think that you think this because
Gemini was the last person to edit the page in the history of those two pages. However, the history of pages does not show the complete history. If a page hasn't been edited in a week or so, the last edit shows as the only edit. It would look like that user created the whole page, when in fact they may have only fixed an error or something a couple weeks ago. And if I am totally off on these here, please by all means tell me what you really think. But
please stop harassing this Swedish guy. I feel so bad that he has had to put up with all this stuff (and other stuff too) when he really has not done anything wrong. The guy is a real big contributor, it is just that nobody knows it. --
Tom
That's cool. No problem here. I welcome our Swedish friend with open arms! And I retract any and all jerky comments I may have made. --
AgentSeethroo
Okay, great. Though, I wouldn't delete this page too soon. More people are going to have the same problem, and this will help explain. --
Tom
Ooh! Ooh! I'm going to send this guy an e-mail. That should smooth things over. I'll let you guys know what happens. --
Tom
Why is the title for this "Sweden"? Also, say someone hasn't edited a page in over a week, and then someone comes along and deletes it? What would we do then? -
CE5
Its because the subject of the page is from Sweden. Anywho I think I'm gonna delete this pretty soon. --
AgentSeethroo
I don't understand your question,
CE5. If some one deletes a page, it shows on the history page as well. Try and give me an example. --
Tom
What if they don't delete the entire page, but they delete a signifigant amount of it after no one had edited it for a few weeks? Say, the Homestar kart page. How do I restore it without being able to recall it all from memory? This page does not show what they did on history. It acts like the person who deleted all that stuff created the page. -
CE5
Then the history page would show exactly what they did. I still don't understand. --
Tom
So it took you weeks to notice? That would be a problem then. It also shows why leaving a comment in the "Summary of change" box is so very important. --
Tom
No, it's like this: no one has edited it for over a week, and then someone comes along and deletes about half of it. How do I restore this? -
CE5
Oh, I thought you knew exactly what happened. I really don't want to get involved in your little dispute. From what I can tell, there are two versions of this "Homestar Kart" thing:
WikiFanStuff/Homestar Kart and
WikiFanStuff/Homestar RunKart. The "RunKart" one is by
Yaanu and the first one is by
Gamingboy. From
your comments on those pages, I can tell what happened. Somewhere along the line, someone besides
Yaanu edited the "RunKart" page. Someone then changed the "Homestar Kart" page, deleting some comments. It looks like they left a note there. So what you want to know is how you can find out who left that note and who deleted the comments? Well, first I want you to consider something: Why does it matter? Do you just want to retaliate? Because that isn't really good at all. Keeping things going like that just makes more people angry and makes the Wiki less hospitable. So I for one, am going to stay out of it. --
Tom
I want to know how to restore it, because they deleted more than just comments and that does constitute as troll. -
CE5
Sorry I baleeted this so soon. CE5, here's the answer I think....On your preferences, there's a thingy to change the number of edits to show in your document history stuff. Try changing that and saving, and tell me if it worked. ~
