Is it just me, or has the
Characters page gotten way out of hand? I mean, I can see listing someone like, say, the Yello Dello or a cancelled character like Trivia Time, but just look at some of the characters here. Deep Impact DVD? Tangerine Dreams? The Pooppsmith's shovel is even on there, for cryin' out loud! I think we need to lay out a definition of what a character is. Firstly: It must have a name and either be able to talk, or have other characters talk to it.
Man, I agree. Inanimate objects are NOT characters, people! It should just have the basic characters and maybe a few secondary ones, but not everything on the site!

Tangerine Dreams should have a page because it's notable, but isn't a character and doesn't need to be on the
Characters page. I agree that something's not a character unless the other characters talk to it and address it by name, but there'll still be some ambiguities. For example, Strong Bad talks to
The Stick, and he also talks to the
Tandy 400. And what about trevor the vampire? Usually there aren't pages for email writers, but Trevor does have a bit of personality. Maybe if you think someone should be added/deleted from the Characters page, you should put it up on
WikiPolls. --

Tire, or any of those other things in that kingdom, a tire is considered its population, so, we should be more leniant about that
Deep Impact DVD and others should just be moved to a section of the characters page titled "Miscellaneous Semi-Characters". -War129
