Hey, MoogleMaster
? here. This page is for computer help. I request that its homestar related, but I don't mind if it's anyhting else. (Windows only, for now. I don't know that much about Macs)
Post Questions Here:
I can get to anything with flash on homestarrunner.com except the sbemails, why is that? (I have a Windows ME) plus, is it just me, or did the chapman bros switch from flash player 7 to flash player 5?-Crap
Having the newest version of Flash works for me. Try reinstalling it from the Macromedia web site. --

Ok, I personally have had problems with Windows ME. Incredibly unstable. First, are you using something like AOL? AOL is kinda finicky on some compys. Also, right click on any flash screen and select settings. Then go to the folder icon, click on it (it might already be open), and then slide the slider to 100 kb. That would probibly help. Also, follow
InterruptorJones advice on the new Flash Player. If it still doesn't work, download a newer version of your browser. If it STILL doesn't work, install some of the Win ME service packs from Microsoft. If not then, try switching to a different browser. If it still doesn't work, I give up. Try another computer. Write back on my
UserSpace to tell me if that helped ya. -MoogleMaster

Okay, when evry I try to run a Java applet, all I see is that "circle, square, and triangle" icon. I have tried all of the "Internet Options" tricks, and updated Java, it still doesn't work. I am using Windows 98. --

Ok, as with
Crap, update browser, get patches, try different browser, etc. The same thing has happened to me with flash on some computers. Now, to see Microsoft's response go to:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q168806 If that doesn't work, go to this website:

Well, I hope that helped you. -MoogleMaster

Forget about Microsoft. They hate java and are trying to drop support and/or make it propritary. Get the official java runtime engine and install it. the engine can be found at:

Does anybody have MSN out there? I have MSN and it is not working. Everytime I try to open Instant messenger it says, "You cannot sign in because you are using an old version of MSN instant messenger." I know I am using the most up to date version of MSN yet, so what should I do? -
Heir_of_Lindeen
Try using something like Trillian or Miranda IM. They both have MSN support, I believe. -
