Where in Canada? I live in Regina --Hobophobic

I lived in Weyburn! The most boring hole in the wall in the world! About an hour and a half away from you! But I liked Regina...haven't been there in several years... -- StrongCanada

Tennessee, huh? I was thinking about moving to Nashville after I get outta the military...maybe. So what does a children's theatre company do? Like travel and put on plays for elementary schools and stuff? Pardon my ignorance. ~ AgentSeethroo

I've only driven through Nashville...it isn't too far from where I am now, but I traveled to a lot of other places while I was in college, so there was never much time to head out that way...As for your question about the children's theatre company, that's EXACTLY what they do! All sorts of ages, sometimes in schools, sometimes in theatres. The casting director told me we could play to houses of thousands and sometimes just a few dozen, it just depends on who hires us! -- StrongCanada

Woah, that sounds AWESOME! The one thing I'd love to do the most is just travel and play music in front of people! People who actually WANT to hear my music!!
So has this been a long time dream for you or just something that came along that sounded fun?
AgentSeethroo

Dude, I'd LOVE to hear your music! I love original, hardly-anyone-has-heard-them-and-therefore-they-are-untainted-by-media-crap artists! As for your question, this was an offer that came along that sounded good. Ever since I'd graduated college, I'd been auditioning for various venues in the area. I went to an audition in Memphis that had about 100 different companies, and this was the one that offered me a "good jorb"! (For any actors reading this - I highly recommend the UPTA auditions in Memphis.) -- StrongCanada

So if this is simply what came along, what kind of stuff would you really like to do?
I used to do some acting back in the day. Then I got into journalism, but I stayed in music most of all throughout my whole life.
AgentSeethroo

Journalism is a good career choice. Dangerous, sometimes despicable, but lucrative if you put your mind to it! Back to me...hmm...when I was younger I had my whole life mapped out in front of me - grad school (for theatre), teaching college, marriage, kids...then life changed (a good thing)! And now I just want to pursue whatever comes my way...if that means being a professional in New York, or LA, or Chicago, or DC or somewhere else, or if that means getting my MFA, or if that means giving up the dream and turning into "that lady down the street with 47 cats", as long as I'm happy, that's what matters! So I just take life as it comes...sound dangerous? No...sounds Dangeresque! --StrongCanada

Yeah, it sounds like fun to me. I was more into photo and video journalism than actually writing. I like to let pictures tell stories, not my feeble words. I did college for a little while, but all I did was skateboard. And fail. So I joined the military, but that may come screeching to a halt.
So, it's probably back to college for me! I'm sure I'll do better this time...if I learned anything in the military, it was how to sit down, shut up, and learn.
Agent Need a new job-throo

Taking pictures huh??? Failing college....are you Peter Parker?! Sorry, I saw the movie last night and LOVED it! Well, good luck with college. Personally, I loved college, but I'm a nerd! --StrongNerdCanada

Yeah...I loved BEING in college at the time...didn't really enjoy classes, obviously!
I kinda decided what I wanna do, finally. I'm gonna major in English, and probably minor in something else? Anyway, I wanna move to Japan and teach English for a couple years. After that, who knows?? AgentSomeone

I have a friend (from Canada) who is living in Japan teaching English. Maybe you should minor in photography, given your interest in photojournalism? --StrongCallMeDearAbbyCanada

Woah, you should hook me up with him/her/it/whatever!
Anyways, I dunno if I even give a carp about photojournalism anymore...I've been out of practice for so long, and it's not REALLY really what I wanna do anymore. I wanna do one of two things.
*Be a musician, or
*Be a teacher.
We'll just see what the cards hold, right?

I live in Nashville. It's an awsome place, if we are still talking about Nashville. -- FireBird

Sure, we can talk about Nashville; I've heard it's a pretty fun place to be! What say you, BurninatingFeatheredVertebrate? Are you originally from Nashville? -- ToughCountryofFrenchandEnglishPeople (For those who didn't notice, I absolutely LOVE doing this linking with a different name thing.)

Hi fellow Canadian! I'm M.J and I'm Australian. Do canadians always say 'eh' alot?
Because they seem to send that up in movies alot and the simpsons. Well I shall go, I like your interview too! - M.J

Do Australians really say "crikey" a lot? -Shoppy

Hello Mate! Nice to meet you! Eastern Canadians say "eh" more than Westerners (I'm from the West, and that's my opinion...my fellow Northerners, what's your opinion?), so it's not a total misconception. We don't live in igloos though, and we do have hot weather in the summer - not snow year round! Do you have kangaroos in your town? (Joking!) --StrongCanada

You know, that's not really such a weird question as you think it is. You have no idea how many people ask us Auzzies that! They're like "Oh, yeah so I guess you see kangaroos everyday" sort of thing. We don't really, up in the bush there are wallabies running across the road and on the expressway and stuff, but really they're not that commonly seen. Kookaburras are around ALOT though. On assembly at school, the teacher kept trying to talk and all we could hear were about 5 kookaburras 'laughing' the whole time.

We don't say crikey or even mate actually. We don't say G'day either. If I were to up to someone and say G'day mate! they would look at me really weird. - M.J
