Easter Eggs
- This is a simple easter egg in the Toons menu. Hold the mouse over the VHS tape on the shelf with the same name. The Brothers Chaps simply put a beard and afro on Marzipan to create Bob Ross, the painter.[See it here fullscreen]
- In the Toons menu, hold the mouse cursor over Strong Bad Email. It will show an email called: Salty Plum Juice. You can still mess with the contrast buttons if you click and drag the Strong Bad Email button on the remote and let go away from the remote.
- Whenever the programs are listed in the TV Guide, click on the binding. The guide will close and it will show a cover page, cycling through these four:
- The whole gang (except Homsar) gathered together with text that says: "Homestar Runner and company: Eating pie and getting doppy"
- A picture of Homestar in mid word with text that says "Homestar Runner: Ummm...Seriously"
- Strong Bad looking upward with text that says "Strong Bad: The Last Great Guy?"
- Strong Mad holding The Cheat and grinning with text that says "Strong Mad and The Cheat: The Next Bosom Buddies?"
- This egg does not work with Strong Bad Email, Teen Girl Squad or Answering Machine as those buttons simply take you to their respective pages instead of opening up the TV Guide.
Fun Facts
- It is hard to see, but the upper right corner of the tv reads "Tee Bee", possibly referring to Homestar's lisp.
- Curiously, Pom Pom was not in the first picture initially. He was added sometime in the summer of 2003.
- To avoid a lawsuit, the TV guide is called the TV Time.
- An alternate URL for the toons menu is [here].
- The default TV guide template (which you can see by saving the menu page without the submenus and opening the guide) is titled "Dennis".
