Strong Glad was raising her son Strong Sad in Free Country USA all by herself. At the same time, Strong Plaid (this square-shaped guy with eyes and plaid-pattern skin) was raising his son Strong Bad in Germany all by himself. Because of a job promotion, Strong Plaid and Strong Bad immigrated to Free Country USA, and were taught to speak English by Strong Glad. Strong Plaid ends up marrying Strong Glad, therefore making SS and SB brothers. Later, they adopt a boy who's 3 years older than Strong Bad. His name is Strong Mad.
